The Life of ELIGIO RENZO SASSATELLI
Eligio Renzo Sassatelli, 62, of 2966 E. Oak Park Ave. died of a renal ailment Monday at home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Sassatelli was born in Modema, Italy, and lived in Des Moines for 55 years. He previously lived in Grimes. He was the retired owner of Des Moines Cleanser Bleach Co. and a member of St. Joseph''s Catholic Church. He was one of the organizers of the Highland Park Little League.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey; two sons, James of Des Moines and Thomas of Mesa, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today.
