The Life of BENJAMIN F MCCARNEY
Services for Ben F. McCarney, 71, of 1546 Wilson Ave. will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. McCarney, who was born in Churdan and moved to Des Moines in 1941, died Sunday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center after a long illness. He was a retired furniture salesman and member of the Union Park Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Clarice B.; a son, Dan of Altoona; two daughters, Mary E. of Des Moines and Mrs. Nancy Denny of West Des Moines; two brothers, R.P. of Bismark, ND, and C.E. of Spencer; and five grandchildren.
