The Life of RUSSELL W BOGUE

Russell W. Bogue, 71, of Adel died of a respiratory ailment Tuesday at Veterans Medical Center in Des Moines.  The body was cremated, and memorial graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mr. Bogue was born in Des Moines and had lived in Marshalltown and Des Moines before moving to Adel eight years ago.  He was a retired truck driver and a Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean War.  He was a member of AmVets and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by a son, Rusty of Des Moines; three daughters, Debbie James, Lori Peters and Lisa Collins, all of Adel; his stepmother, Esther Bogue of Ames; three brothers, Darrell of San Diego, CA, and Marwin and Morris, both of Ames; four sisters, Carolyn Taylor of Nevada, Jody Bogue of North Riverside, IL, Barb Broderick of Waukee and Janet Bogue of Laramie, WY; and 11 grandchildren.
