The Life of MELITA CORA HASTINGS
Services for Mrs. Melita Hastings, 58, of Upland, Calif., a former Des Moines resident, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Brethren in Christ Church, 3840 Fourteenth St. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hastings died of a heart attack Wednesday in Upland. Born in Des Moines, she lived here until moving to California seven years ago. She attended North High School.
Surviving are her husband, Sidney; a daughter, Esther, and a son, David, both of Upland; three sisters, Mrs. Mary McVey, Anna Cram and Norma Cram, and a brother, Donald Cram, all of Des Moines.
The body will be at Arnold''s Highland Park Funeral Home Tuesday.
