The Life of JAMES LESLIE WARD
James Leslie Ward, 75, of 3901 E Twenty-eighth St., Saturday died after suffering a heart attack at his home. He was a lifelong Des Moines resident and a retired baker.
Surviving are his wife, Lena; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Jordan, and Neva Ward, both of Des Moines; two sons, Ralph of Des Moines and Leslie of South Pasadena, Cal.; a brother, George of Seattle, Wash.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Staves Memorial Evangelical Brethren Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
