The Life of WESLEY H SIEVERTSEN
Wesley Sievertsen, 74, of 3024 State Ave., died of cancer Saturday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Sievertsen was born in Manilla and had lived in Des Moines since 1970. He was a retired press operator with Fawn Engineering, an Army Veteran and a member of Unity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; four daughters, Deanna Stafford and Suzanne DeLong, both of Norwalk, Debra Feldmann of Long Grove and Sheryl Zeisler of San Antonio, TX; a brother, Amos of Portland, OR; and eight grandchldren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of Hospice of Central Iowa.
