The Life of KEITH H POINDEXTER
Keith H. Poindexter, 78, of 1714 N.E. Ninth St., Ankeny, died Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center of injuries suffered in a traffic accident. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Ankeny Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Poindexter was born in Polk City and lived in Ankeny 11 years. He retired from Deere & Co. and was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Ankeny Baptist Church.
Among survivors are his wife, Mary Louise; a daughter, Judy Millsap of Ankeny; a son, Dennis O''Brien of Alpharetta, GA.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
