The Life of VIRGIL RAY TALLEY JORDAN

Services for Ray T. Jordan, 54, of 1623 Woodland Ave. will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Jordan, an auto mechanic, died Monday after suffering a heart attack while driving his car at Eighth and Pleasant streets. He was a member of Local 254 of the machinists union. Surviving are two sons, Richard and Lanniray, both of Des Moines; five sisters, Mrs. Opal Locke, Mrs. Eleta Wilcox, Mrs. Faye Black and Mrs.l Elva Mobley, all of Winterset, and Mrs. Uva Ray of Minneapolis; five brothers, Kenneth of Marshalltown, Cecil and Russell of Pomona, CA, Marvin of Alamo, TX, and Leslie of Long Beach, CA, and three grandchildren.
