The Life of PAUL VERNON GERMAN
Paul V. German, 54, of 3810 Amherst St., died of a stroke Wednesday at Veterans Hospital. He had been ill about nine weeks.
Mr. German was born in Iowa Falls and lived in Des Moines 40 years. He had been a mail carrier and was a member of Union Park Masonic Lodge, Des Moines Consistory, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, Isaak Walton League, Loyal Order of the Moose, Beaverdale Veterans of Foreign Wars and First United Methodist Church.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Helen; a daughter, Mrs. Jeri Mentzer of Des Moines, and three grandchildren.
