The Life of RICH ROBERT MORGAN
Rich R. Morgan, 81, of 4029 Ninth St., died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 7 p.m. today at Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Morgan, a lifelong Des Moines resident, worked 33 years with Iowa Packing Co. and was retired from the audit department of The Des Moines Register. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Highland Park American Legion, Eagles Lodge and Forty & Eight Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a son, Robert of San Diego; two sisters, Nola Morgan of Cleveland and Eva Brown of Florida; five grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
