The Life of DEAN ALLEN FOGARTY SR.

Dean A. Fogarty Sr., 68, of Marshalltown died of a heart attack Sunday at Marshalltown Medical and Surgical Center. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Marshalltown, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines. Mr. Fogarty was born in Irwin and moved to Marshalltown in 1960 from Des Moines. He began working for Harker''s Wholesale Meat Co. in 1965 and later relocated to Missouri, where he retired as a regional sales manager for the company in 1987. He returned to Marshalltown in 1994. He is survived by three daughters, Deanna Gauthier of Marshalltown and Kathy Kinseth and Patricia Fogerty, both of Des Moines; three sons, Dean Jr. of Fort Dodge, Steve of Farmington and Thomas of Des Moines; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Mr. Fogerty''s companion was Roseanna Morrison of Marshalltown. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospital Iowa Heart Center in Des Moines. Pursel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown is handling arrangements.
