The Life of MAXINE JEAN KALSEM

Maxine J. Kalsem, 66,of 2614 Idaho st., died of cancer Saturday at home.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grandview Lutheran Church, of which she was a member.  Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Kalsem was born in Cambridge and lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a homemaker and Avon representative.

Survivors include her husband, Falten; a son, Donald of Des Moiens; four daughters, Shirley Kalsem and Phyllis Connors, both of Des Moines, Carolyn Stoll of Urbandale and Sandra Plowman of Baxter; four sisters, Mary Sydnes of Huxley, Lenora Sayre of Slater, Betty Ogle of Indianola, and Ila Ersland of Mission, TX; three brothers, Kenneth Dolph of Carlisle, Donald Dolph of Slater and Lester Dolph of Victorville, CA; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Hospice of Central Iowa.
