The Life of WALTER CHARLES MCCONNELL
Walter "Chuck" McConnell, 28, of Des Moines died of injuries suffered in an automobile accident Saturday in rural Lucas County, Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. McConnell was a mechanic at Tires Plus and had served in the Army. He enjoyed working on cars and monster trucks.
He is survived by his mother, JoAnn McConnell of Des Moines; his father and stepmother, Ronald and Jody of Des Moines; two sisters, Sharrla McConnell of Des Moines and Lesia McConnell of West Des Moines; two brothers, Andrew Vockings and Ronald II, both of Des Moines; and a stepsister, Missy Church of Des Moines.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
