The Life of RALPH E LOYD
Ralph E. Loyd, 85, of 1145 W First St., Ankeny, died of a respiratory ailment Thursday at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Loyd was born in Blackburn, OK, and had lived in the Des Moines area most of his life. He was a retired truck driver and was a member of Grant Park Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Charlotte Powell of Ankeny; two sons, Allen of Indianola and Gordon of Des Moines; two sisters, Geneva Winegar and Evelyn Loyd, both of San Diego; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.>>
