The Life of DOROTHY L THOMAS
Dorothy L. Thomas, 82, of the 6700 block of NE Eighth Court died of a heart ailment Sautrday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at noon Thursday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Thomas was born in St. Louis and had lived in Des Moines 75 years. She was a dental assistant and had worked in the lunchroom at Cornell Elementary School before retiring. She enjoyed country dancing and riding motorcycles.
She is survived by her husband, Don; and a son, Ronald W. of Reno, NV.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
