The Life of LOUVISA BEATRICE NYSTROM

Mrs. Louvisa Beatrice Nystrom, 75, of 1002 E. Sixth St., died Sunday of cancer at Mercy Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services for Mrs. Nystrom will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grandview Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

A native of Ogden, Mrs. Nystrom lived in Des Moines for 50 years.  She was a chef at the Knox Café and Tally Ho Restaurant, and was a member of Grandview Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Neoma Mueller of Des Moines, and Mary Lou Alsin of Vista, Calif.; four sons, Lowell and Darwin, both of Des Moines, Dale of San Rafael, Calif., and Rodger of Collinsville, Okla.; five sisters, Doris Pouty of Minburn, Susie Mandaville of Lake City, Laura Mae Erickson of Des Moines, Lois Frederickson living in South Carolina, and Louetta Elwood of San Mateo, Calif.; three brothers, Clifford Wheeler of Ogden, Richard Wheeler of Boone, and Marion living in Colorado; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
