The Life of KEVIN GENE BALES
Services for Kevin Bales, 23-month-old son of Mrs. Beverly Bales, 1204 Pine Hill Rd, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
The baby was dead on arrival Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
He had lived in Des Moines all his life. An autopsy is being performed to determine the cause of death.
Surviving, besides the mother, are the father, Harvey Bales of Des Moines, a brother, Randy Dean Bales, 3; the maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Rudy Nirk of Des Moines, and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Elfa Bales of Gravity.
