The Life of PHILLIP V CARLSON

Phillip V. Carlson, 87, of 3936 Fifth St. died of pneumonia Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center.  Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Carlson was born in Valeria and lived in Des Moines most of his life.  He retired from Highland Electric Supply and was a member of Auburn Masonic Lodge.

Among suvivors are three sons, Glenn of Indianola and Ralph and Claude, both of Des Moines; a daughter, Marlene Yaske of Ankeny; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Dahlstrom Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Highland Park Lutheran Church.
