The Life of OSCAR SCOTT CARPENTER
Services for Oscar S. Carpenter, 75, of 1431 Des Moines Street, who died of a stroke Thursday at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemtery.
Born in Iowa City, Mr. Carpenter had lived in Des Moines 12 years and was a former employee of the Seven-Up Bottling Co. He retired four years ago. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
His widow, Grace, survives.
