The Life of CAROL A BUCKMANN
Carol Buckmann was full of laughter, humor, kindness and excitement. With Carol you could be yourself. She never found fault with you, but always found joy and humor on your positive points. What Carol always gave to others was laughter! Carol was full of the "dickens". She was fun, enthusiastic, always positive and made people laught at themselves.
Carol was foremost a writer, an adventurer, and a journalist. She worked for the Minneapolis Tribune, the Brainerd Dispatch, The Lake County Echo, Focus 10,000 magazine and others. Her interests were in conservation, the local lake environment and water quality. She loved the outdoors.
Carol's parents both died about a year ago. Her dogs were her family. In the last year Carol has come to know the Lord, her prayers were so beautiful. Many of Carol's friends said she was so strong through her illness, but Carol once said if it wasn't for Jesus, she couldn't handle this. She had turned all of this over to the Lord. We are thankful to know Carol is now in heaven with her parents.
