The Life of JOHN A LUND
John A. Lund, 36, of the 500 block of Southwest Goodwin Street died of cancer Tuesday at home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. at Grace Chruch, of which he was a member.
Mr. Lund was born in Mountain Home, ID, and had lived in Connecticut before moving to the Des Moines area 12 years ago. He had worked for Geo Learning and was an avid collector of baseball, football and basketball cards.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea; his parents, Munro and Janice Lund of Burns Flat, OK; a brother, Martin of Dill City, OK; and a sister, Mary Robinson of Wallingford, CT.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church in care of the Lund Fund.
