The Life of LAURA ISABELLA ROW

Services for Mrs. Laura Row, 76, of 1434 Thirty-fourth St., will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Row died Friday afternoon of a heart attack. She had been ill several years. She was born in Reading, PA and had lived in Des Moines since 1921. She was a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church; was a past president of the Women''s Benefit Association and of the Ladies Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 109; and was a member of Chapter 89, Order of Easter Star; Mount Olive White Shrine; Rantchewaime Council of Pocahontas; Lee Rebekah Lodge 76, Women''s Relief Corps 24 and the Hospital unit of the Shrine. Survivors include a son, George R of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Overholser and Mrs. Ethel Loftin, both of Des Moines; a twin sister, Mrs. Ida Drexell of Reading, PA; a brother, George A Sands of Reading; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
