The Life of LEROY FRIEDMEYER
LeRoy Friedmeyer, 81, of 3620 49th St. died of emphysema Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Friedmeyer was born in DeSoto, MO, and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He retired as a homebuilder and owner of Friedmeyer Homes and was a member of the Home Builder''s Association and St. Stephen Lutheran Church.
Among survivors are his wife, Mildred; a son, Jerry of Grimes; and two grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
