The Life of VIOLA PEARL WHITE
Mrs. V. Pearl White, 89, of the Riverview Manor Convalescent Home, 701 Riverview Ave. died of a brain tumor monday at Iowa Methodist medical Center. She had been ill six months.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. White was born in Mitchellville. She lived in Des Moines most of her life and was a graduate of Drake University. She was a retired school and piano teacher and a member of Capitol Hill Christian Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vera Monohon of Des Moines and Mrs. Velda Mentzer of South Bend, IN; a brother, Norman C. White of San Diego, CA; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
