The Life of ELDON LOWELL BENNETT
Eldon Lowell Bennett, 81, of 3250 Kinsey Ave. died of a heart ailment Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Bennett lived in Des Moines all of life life and was a retired auto mechanic for Dewey Ford. He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of the AFL-CIO.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma; a daughter, Joyce Goodman of Savanah, MO; a son, Clayton of Des Moines; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
