The Life of WILFORD JOHN TEMBY

Services for Wilford J "Wip" Temby, 68, of 1511 Southlawn Dirve, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Temby was dead on arrival Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center after suffering a heart attack. He had been ill about three months. A lifelong resident of Des Moines, he was a retired printing foreman for Equitable of Iowa and a member of Des Moines Club of Pringing House Craftsmen; Des Moines Izaak Walton League; Des Moines Pioneer Club; Twenty-five Year Club of Equitable of Iowa; Equitable men's Club; International Typographical Union Local 118 and Fort Des Moines United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife Elna; three daughters, Mrs. Sandra Foreman and Mrs. Judith Prothero, both of Des Moines, and Mrs. Terry Kramer of Norwalk; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie Wood of Des Moines; a brother, Harold of Madison, Wisconsin and six grandchildren.
