The Life of RICHARD LEROY STOUGARD SR.
Richard LeRoy Stougard Sr., 53, of 4015 E. 28th St. died of a heart ailment Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Stougard was born in Des Moines and lived here all his life. He was a retired binder with Meredith Publishing and member of Sheridan Park United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Richard, Jr., two daughters, Lynn Knight and Amanda Stougard, and his parents, Andrew and Velma Stougard, all of Des Moines; a brother, Larry of Johnston; and six grandchildren.
