The Life of ROBERT RILEY VRANICH
Robert Riley Vranich, 58, of Canoga Park, CA, died of a stroke Friday at West Hills Medical Center there. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Des Moines, and burial of the cremains will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Vranich lived in Des Moines most of his life until moving to California five years ago. He was a software consultant with 20th Century Insurance and a veteran of the Air Force.
Among survivors are two daughters, Lisa Modrick and Laura Miles, both of Des Moines; a son, Robert II, and a brother, Larry, both of Austin, Texas; a sister, Michele Coughlin of Olathe, Kan.; and five grandchildren.
Memorial contirubtions may be made to the Des Moines Botanical Center.
