The Life of IDA M LIVINGSTON

Ida M. Livingston, 88, of 2824 E 16th St., died of cancer Sunday at Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines.  Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Livingston was born in Albion and had lived in Des Moines since 1939, retiring from French Way and Noah Cleaners as a wool presser.  She was a member of Westcheter Evangelical Free Church.

Among survivors are three daughters, Ruby Wheatly of Ankeny, and Shirley Frost and Edith Coburn, both of Des Moines; a son, Ronald of Des Moines; a brother, Andrew Walker, and a sister, Helen McClelland, both of Sedalia, MO; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Kavanagh House on Grand or Hidden Acres Christian Center.
