D.C was my flight instructor and friend in the late 1960's. He was a great instructor and knew everything about airplanes. He started his own flying club, Business Flyers of Iowa, in about 1968. He flew everything from single engine planes to military jets. He was an instructor with the national guard and flew Iowa governor Leo Hoeg's plane. I lost touch with D.C. when we moved from Des Moines in 1972. He was a good friend.
