The Life of NORMA LOUISE SCALISE
Norma "Sherry" Scalise, 62, of the 6800 block of Northwest Alderman Lane died of a heart ailment Sundya at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Scalise lived in Des Moines all her life. She was a banquet captain for Marriott Hotels and enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; three daughters, Kim Scalise and Cindy Scalise, both of Des Moines, and Leisa Scalise of West Des Moines; a son, Nick of Des Moines; three sisters, Marilyn Gittlin of Palm Springs, CA, Diane Hensel of Alexander and Carla Faber of St. Petersburg, FL; and two brothers, Bill Murphy of Urbandale and Jim Murphy of Clive.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Westover Funeral Home, where a rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals or her church.
