The Life of VERLE DONALD BUCKMANN
Verle Donald Buckmann, 83, of Brainerd, MN, died there March 16 of complications of neck and spinal injuries suffered in an August 1992 auto accident. Memorial services will be at 2 pm April 17 at Highland Park Christian Church in Des Moines, with burial in Des Moines' Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Buckmann, who retired as a district sales agent with Chicago and North Western Railway, for which he worked 41 years, was born in Rudd. He lived in Des Moines 58 years until moving to Minnesota in 1990 and was a member of the Christian Church, past president of the Des Moines Transportation Club and a charter member of Statesman's Club.
Surviving are his wife, Frances; and a daughter, Carol Buckmann of Nisswa, MN.
