The Life of LAURANCE DANA ANDERSON

Services for Laurance D. Anderson, 68, of 112 SE Pleasnat View Drive, who died of a heart attack Wednesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Dahlstrom Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Anderson was a clerk at the Des Moines Post Office for 25 years, retiring four years ago.  Born in Winterset, he lived here most of his life.

He was a member of the South Unit of Jehovah''s Witnesses, the Postal Clerks Union and the Rose Society.

Surviving are his widow, Rose; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Porter, Mrs. Dorothy Graham, and Mrs. Alice Kirschbaum, all of Des Moines; a son, Donald of Burlington, NJ: two brothers, Einar of Des Moines and Donald of Dallas, TX; four sisters, Mrs. Grace Mergert and Mrs. Bess Stein of Covington, KY, Mrs. Doris Thatcher of Dallas, TX, and Mrs. Mable Koehne of Inman, KS; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
