The Life of DOMENIC CAPPELLIN
Domenic Cappellin, 75, of 4004 E. 28th St. died of a heart attack Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Funeral Home, and burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Cappellin was born in White City and lived in Des Moines for 56 years. A member of St. Joseph''s Catholic Church, he was a retired home builder, contractor and firefighter.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; a son, John of Waco, TX; three sisters, Marguerite Wines of Des Moines, Theresa Foster of Oskaloosa and Johanna Linn of Denver, CO; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 9 p.m. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospital Medical Center.
