The Life of SELMA C ASCHIM
Services for Selma C. Aschim, 89, of Luther Park Health Care Center, 1555 Hull Ave., who died Friday of complications following surgery at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Central Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Aschim was born in Red Wing, MN and moved to Des Moines more than 60 years ago. She was a member of Central Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Thorstein B.; five sons, Theodore of Dallas, TX, Robert of Rockford, IL, Donald of Lakeview, AR, Kenneth of Hemet, CA, and Dean of Des Moines; a daughter, Delores Aschim of Des Moines; a brother, Hans Michaelson of Red Wing, MN; a sister, Ruther Larson of Red Wing, MN; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. The family suggest that any memorial contributions be made to Luther Park Health Care Center.
