The Life of FREDRICK ARTHUR WHITLOCK
Services for Fred Arthur Whitlock, 73, of 766 E Broadway Ave., who died of a heart attack Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Whitlock was a supervisor at the Wood Brothers Moving Co. before his retirement. A native of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. He lived in des Moines 39 years and was a member of the Highalnd Park Evangelical Free Church.
He is survived by his wife, Glendora; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Lyons of Des Moines; a son, John, with the Air Force in South Vietnam; a sister, May Whitlock and a brother, Nelson, both of Charlottetown; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
