The Life of SONJA KAY WILLIAMSON
Sonja Kay Williamson, 55, of 201 SW Hughes Ave., died of a liver ailment Tuesday in Iowa City. The body was cremated and a memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at First Seventh Day Adventist Church in Des Moines.
Mrs. Williamson was born in Buffalo, NY and lived in Des Moines 35 years. She was a self-employed child-care provider.
Surviving are her husband, Clark; a son, Jon of Des Moines; her parents, Mike and Carol Dassenko of Minnesota; and three sisters, Mary Schwantes of Idaho, Colleen Loken of Minnesota and Lola Fults of Kansas.
Arrangements were handled by Callahan Funeral Home in Iowa City.
