The Life of Marion Wheeler Swan
SWAN Marion Swan, age 87, wife of the late Harold Swan and longtime Derby resident currently of Shelton, passed away April 4. She was born May 25, 1923 in Ansonia, daughter of the late Alfred and Alice Lewis Wheeler. A member of Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia, Marion worked as a secretary for the former Evening Sentinel and B.F. Goodrich. She is survived by her daughter Pamela Madorno of Safety Harbor Florida, her brother, Ernest Wheeler of Ansonia and two grandchildren, Joseph and Kristine Madorno, both of Clearwater, Florida. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters Evelyn Kuzma and Shirley Dube and brother Kenneth Wheeler. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 7 at 11 a.m. from The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
