The Life of ANNA M. CAMMARANO

Anna M. Cammarano, 97, formerly of Reading, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at 2:00 am at Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Cammarano who passed away February 4, 2014. Born in Luzerne County, Anna was the daughter of the late Leonard and Lena (Feraro) Chervino. She was a member of Saint Margaret of Scotland Roman Catholic Church and was a loving wife, homemaker and office manager at Joe Cam’s Autorama in Reading. Anna had a passion for gardening, cooking, life, and especially family and friends. She also spent many years volunteering at the Berks Heim Nursing Home. Mrs. Cammarano is survived by her nieces Monica (Chervino) Rhoades of Weatherly, PA and Suzanne (Chervino) Fernandez of San Clemente, CA and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was the last survivor of 7 children. Preceding her in death were her brothers Frank, John, and Joseph Chervino as well as her sister Rosie Defuso. Two additional siblings passed away at a very young age. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Margaret of Scotland Roman Catholic Church 925 Centre Ave., Reading, PA 19601, Friday, September 3, 2021 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Height, Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Friday at Saint Margaret of Scotland Roman Catholic Church from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Saint Margaret of Scotland Roman Catholic Church at the above address or Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital Medical Foundation 2500 Bernville Road, Reading, PA 19605 in memory of Mrs. Anna M.
