It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Marion Thomas “Buddy” Lee, Jr., who left us on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the age of 86. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and brother. Born September 15, 1937 in Pittsburgh, Marion was the 4th child of the late Dudleen and Marion Lee, Sr..

He was a proud graduate of Westinghouse High School and he graduated with a bachelor degree in Business from the University of Pittsburgh. Marion loved to sell. A career in Pharmaceutical sales for Pfizer Laboratories was followed with medical sales at Baxter Pharmaceutical and Edwards Life Sciences. Marion was recognized as a top performer, selling the Swan-Ganz Cather and Critical Care products. He was featured in the Wall Street Journal when Edwards Life Sciences became a publically traded company. He retired in 2019.

Marion was a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates buckaroos fan. He enjoyed time at his Grove City farm hunting and fishing. He loved to spend time at home and maintain his landscaping.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; son, Marion (Susan) Lee; granddaughters, Morgan and Lillian; sisters, Dr. Mary Brady (Robert) Atlkins, Patricia (Bennie), Ida (Charles) and many nieces and nephews.

Marion’s family will welcome friends from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at King Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park, PA.

A Funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, July 12, at King Funeral Home with Rev. Jeffrey Potter officiating.

He will be laid to rest at Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
