The Life of Mr Charles Richard Yingling Jr.

Charles Richard Yingling, Jr., 82, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024, at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Joan M. (Wolf) Yingling.

Born in York on February 6, 1942, Charles was the son of the late Charles R. Yingling, Sr. and Evelyn M. (Storms) Yingling. He was a member of the 13th Ward Political Assoc. and the Shiloh American Legion Post 791. He retired following 33 years of service from Harley Davidson.

The celebration of life service will be at Noon, Monday, April 29, 2024, at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 West Market Street, York with Rev. Eric Palmquist officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

In addition to his wife of 62 years, Mr. Yingling is survived by three children, Beth Chavarria of Florida, Scott Yingling and Mark Yingling both of York; grandson, Noah Chavarria of South Carolina; as well as his beloved dog, Lexi at home.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald E. Yingling.
