The Life of Mrs. Sarah Jane Myers

Sarah J. “Sally” Myers, age 71, of West Manchester Township, York, died at 12:23 PM Saturday, April 20, 2024. She was the wife of Michael E. Myers.

Born November 11, 1952, in York, a daughter of the late Harry W. Harman, Jr. and the late Betty Jane (Bury) Harman, she retired after 30 years of service as a secretary with the York City School District.  She was a member of Saint Stephen’s United Church of Christ and loved making Sunday family dinners.

In addition to her husband of 52 years, Mrs. Myers is survived by two brothers, Bradley S. Harman, and his wife Arlene: and Arthur D. “Oss” Harman, and his wife Kim; two sisters, Pamela L. Sheely, and her husband Lynn, Tracey A. Myers, and her husband Lee, and sister-in-law, Jody Harman, all of York, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kathy and Tom Livingston, of York; eight nieces and nephews, Michael Smith, Kristine Paules, Brooke Sheely-Clark, and her husband Cody, Mindy Sweitzer, Arthur Harman, Nicole Harman, and Taylor Livingston, and four great nieces and nephews, Treyton Smith, Khloe Harman, Andrew Harman, and Greyson Clark. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Philip M. Harman, and Harry W. Harman, III.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM Saturday April 27, 2024, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with The Rev. Dr. W. Arthur Grahe officiating. Viewings will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday and 11:00 AM-12:00 PM Saturday. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
