The Life of Mr William Dale Grove

William "Dale" Grove, 75, entered into rest on Friday March 15, 2024, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Paulette "Cookie" (Petruska) Grove for 57 years.

He was born June 2, 1948, in Baltimore. The son of the late Chauncey B. and Helen M. (Arney) Grove.

Dale worked as an electrician for Honeywell, Frank Electric, and United Cool Air. He was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church.

Including his wife Paulette, Dale is also survived by two children Christopher D. Grove and his wife Mary, Jennifer M. Grove Shaffer and husband Timothy, four grandchildren Danielle Grove, Caleb Nguyen, Dominic Nguyen, Jonathan Grove, two step grandchildren Matthew and Rachel, three step great grandchildren, a brother Robert Grove. Dale will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his twin brother, James Ronald Grove.

A visitation will be 4-5 pm Monday March 25, 2024, at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt. Rose Ave. York. A funeral service will follow at 5pm with Deacon Joe Kramer officiating. Burial will be private at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
