The Life of Chrystella Marie Mcilwraith

Chrystella “Christie” Marie McIlwraith, age 67 of Troutville, transitioned to a blissfully eternal existence with God on Saturday, March 23, 2024.  She was born November 21, 1956, daughter of the late William and Ida-Lee McIlwraith.  A special mention shall be made of her late grandmother, Ida Ann Roberts, who Christie especially cherished.

She retired from a local subsidiary of Marvin Windows Company of Roanoke.

Surviving family members include her three sisters, Mari Doyle-Hall (David), Teddi Rutschman (Mark) and Ida-Lee McIlwraith; brother, William McIlwraith (Ruth) and several nieces and nephews.

All services and internment will be private.

In lieu of flowers and because of her heartfelt affection for animals, a tributary donation to a local animal shelter would be warmly appreciated.

And lastly, for you Christie:  Until we meet again, our love for you remains etched in our hearts.
