Everett Wilton Noell, 88, of Vinton, Va., was called home on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Mary Jane Wheeler Noell; his parents, Emory and Lilian Gray Noell; sister, Doretha; brother, Oswald Noell; and unborn sister of Bedford County.
Surviving family includes, Darrell Noell (Angie), Derrick Noell (Janet), Lori Noell Kingsbury (Dale), and Chad Noell (Penny); numerous grandchildren, Duane Noell (Jennifer), Daniel Noell, Jesse Noell, Jennifer Noell, Taylor Kingsbury, and Travis Kingsbury; step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Lewis Gale Hospital, Caring Companions, and Good Samaritan Hospice for their outstanding care and service.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday March 24, 2024, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday March 25, 2024, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel with Pastor Bob Phaup officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends afterwards at Jordantown Wesleyan Church.
