Paul V. Ryms

February 10, 1948 - March 15, 2024

Age 76, of Morningside, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, March 15, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Doris E. (Francic) Ryms; loving father of Jane (Jonathan) Martrano, Mara (Charlie) Haveson and the late Jesse Ryms; devoted and cherished grandfather of Mikaela Smith, Brayden Martrano, Santino Martrano, Colton Haveson and Scarlett Haveson; son of the late Walter S. and Mary A. (Krason) Ryms; brother of Stephen Ryms, Margaret Celani and Judy Rodgers; brother-in-law of Jeanette (James) Rossi and Karen (Janek) Chawryluk; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with his Masters Degree. Paul was a Range Officer and lifetime member of the Allegheny Country Rifle Club. He went on to successfully form the Paul V. Ryms Agency and was in business over 38 years.

Family and friends are welcomed at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Jude Parish, St. Raphael Church on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
