The Life of MARY H. ROSS

Age 95, of Valencia, formerly of Glenshaw and Bloomfield, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on February 8, 2024.  She was the beloved daughter of the late Basilio and Agnese Buzzelli; loving wife of 65 years to the late Raymond "Chook" Ross;  loving, precious mother of Maryann (Bert) Edwardo and the late Daniel (surviving wife and dearest and devoted daughter-in-law Mary Ellen) Ross; cherished grandmother of Erin (Braden) DeVore, Rocco (Katrina) Ross and Gemma Carlino (Billy Whitton); doting great-grandmother of Logan and Dylan DeVore and Gianna and Layla Carlino; dear sister of the late Diana "Dena" Cherico and the late Ann "Nini" Adams.  

Mary will be remembered for her endless, tireless devotion and care for her family and for being a kind and sharing person to friends; always putting everyone else’s needs above her own.  

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mary’s life at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th Street, Lawrenceville, on Monday, February 12th, 2024 from 1-8 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, St. Augustine Church, 225 37th Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201 on Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.  Internment to follow at Allegheny Cemetery, 4734 Butler St., Pittsburgh, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Pittsburgh Chapter in her honor.
