The Life of Alma Vivian Duke

Vivian Duke, age 90, of Olathe, Kansas passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Vivian was born in Liberal, Missouri to Novella Ivarene (McClendon) Venable and Wilbur Glen Venable Sr..

Vivian is survived by her son Monty Duke; her daughter-in-law Diane Duke; her son Kevin Duke; and her daughter-in-law Christie Duke; her granddaughter Christine (Loren) Walters, her granddaughter Stephanie (Derek) Perez, her granddaughter Jennifer (Peter) Vaughn, her granddaughter Caroline (Joe) Jewett, her grandson Daniel (Roxanne) Duke, her granddaughter Katherine Duke, her granddaughter Elizabeth (Collin) Gerringer and her granddaughter Rebekah Duke.

Vivian was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years Riley Anderson Duke; her father Wilbur Glen Venable Sr. and her mother Novella Ivarene (McClendon) Venable.

Vivian will be sadly missed by her fifteen great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Vivian will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Olathe Memorial Cemetery, 738 North Chestnut Street, Olathe, KS 66061. Following the graveside service will be a visitation from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 105 E. Loula Street, Olathe, KS 66061.

Serving as pallbearers are Daniel Duke, Collin Gerringer, Loren Walters, Joe Jewett, Derek Perez and Peter Vaughn.
