The Life of Bennett Michael Ging

Bennett was born on September 13, 2023. He sustained many complications caused by premature birth which ultimately led to his passing. Bennett was considered a fighter and warrior by many who followed his health journey. His family even gave him the nickname, “Superman.”

Bennett is preceded in death by his maternal great grandmothers, Shirley Whittle and JoAnn Gabehart. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Autumn Ging, and his sister, Remi Maelynn Ging, of the home. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Ray and Tammie Gabehart of Raymore, Missouri, and paternal grandmother, Deborah Ging of Marshall, Missouri. Left behind to cherish his memory are his aunts and uncles, Amie Maguire (Jason) of Garden City, MO; Renee Holden of Gladstone, MO; Nikki Hagan of Overland Park, KS; Kristina Gabehart of Olathe, Kansas; Donna Algiere (Jeff) of Warrensburg, Missouri; and Anisa Towner (Rick) of Olathe, Kansas. Bennett will be sadly missed by his great grandparents, Joyce and Donnie Brown of Marshall, Missouri; Wayne Mueller of Warrensburg, Missouri; and Boyce Gabehart of Olathe, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday afternoon, January 15, 2024, at Midtown Baptist Temple, 3953 Walnut Street Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memory contributions in loving memory of “Bennett Michael Ging” can be made to Circle of Hope NICU Foundation.
