The Life of Marquise Leman Rose Sr

Marquise “Quisie / Quise / Big Quise” Leman Rose was born July 31, 1997, to     Tyree Maurice Rose and Jessica Rene Doyal, Kansas City, KS. He was joined in death by his brother DeMarcus Anthony Houston Jr. Marquise was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Sherman Rose.

Marquise completed his early education in the KCKS and Shawnee Mission school districts. He later got his High School diploma online. He played basketball for years, and later enjoyed gaming online.

Marquise held several warehouse jobs, and later became an entrepreneur.

Marquise was a loving son, brother, uncle and father. He made sure that all of his little brothers, nephews and children had a good life and knew they were loved. Marquise took his role as Father, Big Brother and Uncle very seriously. He was affectionately known as the “Protector” of the family, and he carried that title proudly, and implemented it with his grandparents, parents, siblings, children, aunts, and cousins. Big Quise did not play about the people he loved!

Marquise left his journey on earth and began his journey in Heaven on November 16, 2023.

Marquise leaves to cherish his memory both parents, Tyree Maurice Rose and  Jessica Rene Doyal. His girlfriend Janee Taylor. A daughter, Alani Mylia Rose, and One son, Marquise Leman Rose Jr.; Three loving brothers: Tyric Rose, Jaylen Fennell-Callands and Jakobe Doyal. Three nephews: Tyreece, Royal and De’miri. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Hosie and Peggy Doyal. His paternal grandmother, Emma Harris. Four aunts, Lesley Walker, Amber Doyal, Rochell Rose and Jacquely Rose, a host of cousins, Great Aunts and Uncles, and friends.
